PDFs in the browser. Disclosure of Google AdSense, Analytics, and personalized-ads opt-out.

Client-side model: PDF files you compress, merge, split, or organize on PDFGeneral are read with the browser File API and processed in local memory (WebAssembly / Workers). They are not uploaded to PDFGeneral servers for processing. Verify with DevTools on /en/local-privacy.

That guarantee is separate from website cookies used for analytics and advertising (Google Analytics GA4 and Google AdSense when consent allows). Those services do not receive PDF file contents. See: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

You can opt out of personalized ads via Google Ad Settings. In the EEA/UK/CH, Consent Mode and Google’s Privacy & messaging CMP control ad/storage signals when enabled.

Account data (if you register): email and profile needed to sign in and raise file-size limits. Compression history may be stored for signed-in users. Contact info@pdfgeneral.com to request access or deletion of account data.
