Portals and email inboxes often require a single PDF. Merging an ID, contract, and annexes by hand in a desktop editor is slow and often uploads the file to the cloud.

PDFGeneral merges PDFs on your device with pdf-lib: you set the order, combine, and download. Optionally send the result to the compressor without uploading again.

How to merge PDFs in the browser

  1. 1Drop or pick several PDF files (minimum 2, maximum 20).
  2. 2Reorder the list with the arrows if needed.
  3. 3Click Merge PDF and wait for the result.
  4. 4Download the file or send it to Compress PDF to meet a KB/MB cap.

Frequently asked questions

Are the PDFs uploaded to a server?

No. Merging runs in your browser. There is no POST of the document contents.

Can I change the order before merging?

Yes. Use the arrows on each row. Position 1 becomes the first page of the final PDF.

What happens to fillable forms (AcroForm)?

Interactive fields may be lost when concatenating pages. For filings with static pages this usually does not matter.

How many files can I merge?

Up to 20 PDFs per run, with a combined cap of 300 pages.

Does it work with encrypted PDFs?

Not while they still have a password. Unlock them first, then add them to the merge list.
