“Split PDF” usually means breaking a long document into manageable pieces: the first half of a report, only annex B, or the ID pages versus the rest of the packet.

Today the tool builds one new PDF with the chosen section. It does not yet package a ZIP with one file per page; if you need that, repeat the operation for each sheet.

How to split a PDF in the browser

  1. 1Drop the large PDF on the upload zone.
  2. 2Choose the section to separate: thumbnails or a range like 4-9.
  3. 3Confirm Split / Extract range to create the cut file.
  4. 4Download that section or send it to Compress PDF if the portal sets an MB cap.

Frequently asked questions

Does it create a ZIP with one PDF per page?

Not yet. You get one PDF with the chosen pages. For one file per page, repeat the operation sheet by sheet.

How does this differ from Extract pages?

Extract targets “pull a subset” (e.g. three loose form sheets). Split covers the “split / cut a long PDF” search intent. The current engine still outputs a single PDF in both cases.

Can I split into two halves in one go?

Run twice: first range 1–N and download; then reload the original and take N+1 through the end.

Is the document uploaded to the cloud?

No. The cut runs in your browser; there is no POST of the PDF contents.

What if the section is still too heavy?

Send the split PDF to Compress PDF, or remove stray pages with Delete pages before splitting again.
